The Refugee Council is a leading charity working with refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. Founded in 1951, following the creation of the UN Refugee Convention, we exist to support those who come to the UK in need of safety. We provide direct assistance to help people settle and integrate into their new community in addition to our advocacy and policy work. The Building Bridges programme forms part of our integration and specialist employment support service for refugee health professionals.
RAGU, London Metropolitan University

Based within the University, qualified experienced advisers provide a client-centred service as well as establishing strong partnerships with NHS employers and stakeholders. RAGU has been a partner of Building Bridges since its inception in 2009, supporting refugee health professionals through registration and into NHS work at all levels.
